PAGE 2-5 Wiretap Guide

The wiretap of Patriarca is outlined in detail including information where and how it should be installed. 

New England Telephone information outlines which telephone pole is best to be used for installation.

“Based on the survey, if an RFMT can be used under these circumstances, it is recommended that it be installed for a period of 30 days to determine PATRIARCA’s activities pertaining to the Anti-Racketering Program.”

 

PAGE 14 Floating Crap Game

Colonel Walter Stone tells the FBI that Patriarca may have an interest in a floating crap game in the North End Section of Boston.

 

PAGE 27 $1 Million a Year

A teletype from the FBI office in Boston to Hoover says that a letter from C.H. Anderson, the Chief of Police in Beverly Hills, CA alleges that Patriarca was an associate of Frank Costello and their combined operation in Rhode Island netted in excess of one million a year.

The FBI tracked connects to Beverly Hills, CA, Hollywood, FL, Westfield NJ, New York City and Boston, MA to name a few.

 

PAGE 50 Projo $1 Million Law Suit 

One informant tells the FBI that Patriarca is worried that he will not win his $1 million law suit against the Providence Journal and that his loss in the suit will add to the already growing bad publicity.

 

PAGE 72 Questions if Patriarca owned a portion of the La Bohoeme Club in Miami

According to informants, the La Bohoeme Club was owned after World War II by Jake Lansky and Frank Costello. The club according to a Sun Sentinel article in 1986, was reported to that clubs on the beach had  paid police as much as $25,000 per week for protection which was minimal compared to the $2 million the club could make a night. 

Lansky was later killed in his home in Woonsocket RI.

Page 78 White City Amusement Park Gets Auctioned Off

According to a November 3 article in the Providence Journal, the White City Amusement Park was auctioned of to Albert Shore for $385,000 for the site. The equipment was sold for $45,000.
