#21 URI Scores 59 1st Half Points En Route to 107-65 Route of Marist

Hassan Martin's double-double helps URI roll Marist
Just a few hours after climbing from #23 to #21 in the AP Poll, the URI Rams men’s basketball team scored 59 points in the first half en route to a 107-65 win over Marist on Monday night at the Ryan Center.

"I thought we played at a pretty high level tonight. Offensively, we were closer to playing at the pace we want to play at. We are a good shooting team, and a great passing team that can beat opponents in a lot of different ways. I think that was all on display tonight," said URI head coach Dan Hurley after the game.

With the win, the Rams improve to 2-0 on the season, while Marist drops to 0-2 overall.
