Three plays later, Hill swung a pass to Justice Antrum, who took the pass 35 yards down the left sideline for a game-tying touchdown.
That was the start of 17 unanswered points for URI. The momentum stayed with the Rams, as linebacker Andre Blackett interception Perry for the first turnover of the game. Rhody picked up one first down before the drive stalled, but C.J. Carrick made a 33-yard field goal to make the score 10-7 Rhode Island. After the defense forced a punt. Hill plunged in from 1 yard out to cap a four-play, 70-yard drive that included a 56-yard pass from Hill to Caleb Warren.

On the opening possession of the second half, Henry Yianakopolos had a strip-sack and the fumble was recovered by Antionio Carter II. Given a short field, Hill drove the Rams 32 yads in six plays, hitting Warren for a 7-yard touchdown in the back corner of the end zone for a 24-14 lead.
After the teams traded possessions, Rhody forced a three-and-out, and a bad punt by Brown gave the Rams first-and-10 at the Bears 36. Hill hit Ivory Frimpong for 35 yards, then pushed the pile from 1 yard put to help make the score 31-14.
On the ensuing Brown drive, James Makszin forced and recovered a fumble in the red zone to give Rhode Island the ball at its own 17-yard line. After a 3-yard run by Antrum, Hill hit Matt Pires for 80 yards down the right sideline for a touchdown that put the Rams up, 38-14.
Brown managed a field goal and a three-and-out to make things a little interesting. However, cornerback Jordan Jones intercepted a pass in his own end zone and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown, icing the game for Rhode Island.
