Brown Basketball Adds 5 to Incoming Class of 2016-17

Brown basketball has added 5 players to the incoming class of 2016-17, announced head coach Mike Martin. 

The class includes four members of the class of 2020 including Brandon Anderson, Brandon Charnov, David Erebor, Joshua Howard and transfer Blake Wilkinson who will be a member of the class of 2018. 

"Our staff is excited about this group of five incoming student-athletes. All come to Brown having performed extremely well at their previous stop.  We added size, athleticism, and skill to our team and expect that all of these young men will have a chance to make immediate and significant contributions during their careers at Brown," said coach Martin.

The Players 

Brandon Anderson 

Anderson is a 6-1 guard from New Jersey who averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game as a senior at Don Bosco Prep. 

Brandon Charnov 

Charnov is a 6-11 forward from Houston, Texas who averaged 15 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in his senior year at Kinkaid High School. 

David Erebor 

Erebor is a 6-9 forward from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School in Maryland who was awarded MIAA All-Conference in basketball and soccer. 

Joshua Howard 

Howard is a 6-6 forward from the Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina who was awarded all-state in basketball in both 2015 and 2016 and all-conference in 2014, 2015 and 2016. 

Blake Wilkinson 

Wilkinson is a 6-7 forward who transferred from Utah. He averaged 1.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in 25 games with Utah.
