Brown Basketball Adds Six to 2015-16 Roster

Brown men's basketball coach Mike Martin announced his six member recruiting class who will join the team for the 2015-16 season. The class includes four freshmen and two transfers.

The incoming recruiting class includes freshmen Corey Daugherty, Travis Fuller, Obi Okolie and Chris Sullivan, while the transfers include sophomore Justin Massey and Junior Blake Wilkinson.

Corey Daugherty

Corey Daugherty is a 6'1" guard from Barrington, Rhode Island who was named the Gatorade Rhode Island Player of the Year as a senior at Barrington High School.

Travis Fuller

Travis Fuller is a 6'8" forward from La Costa Canyon High School in Encinitas, California where he was the team captain, averaged 18.5 points and ten rebounds per game, and was named  a first team All-League Selection in his senior year.

Justin Massey

Justin Massey is a 6'3" guard from Cooper City, Florida and the twin brother of Brown basketball's Jason Massey.

Justin Massey played at Florida Atlantic during the 2014-15 season, playing in all 29 games, starting 11, and averaging seven points and three rebounds per game.

Obi Okolie

Obi Okolie is a 6'5" guard from Ajax, Ontario where he graduated from Archbishop O'Connor and averaged 26 points, eight rebounds and six assists as a senior. Okolie is a three time Lake Ontario Secondary School Champion and was named the 2014 Male Athlete of the Year.

Chris Sullivan

Chris Sullivan is from Wilmette, Illinois and is the younger brother of Brown greats Matthew and Peter Sullivan who both netted over 1,000 points in their career's at Brown.

Chris Sullivan is a graduate of Northfield Mr. Hermon where he averaged eight points per game as a senior and was named a McDonalds All-American nominee.

Blake Wilkinson

Blake Wilkinson is a 6'7" junior forward from Bountiful, Utah where he averaged 11 points and five rebounds per game at Salt Lake Community College.

Wilkinson went on an LDS mission from 2012-2014 after playing at Utah for a season, averaging two points and two rebounds per game for the Utes

Adding Depth

The addition of these six recruits will give the Bears solid depth and in the case of Wilkinson and Massey, added experience to go alongside Cedric Kuakumensah, Steven Spieth and Tavon Blackmon.
