Brown Lacrosse to Host Navy in NCAA Quarterfinal at Brown Stadium

The Brown Bears lacrosse team will host Navy on Saturday, May 21 at Brown Stadium in the second game of the NCAA quarterfinal doubleheader. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m. 

Navy is coming off a 13-10 first round upset of 4th seeded Yale on Sunday. 

The first game of the double header will be top seeds Maryland taking on Syracuse.

How Brown Got Here 

The 5th seeded Bears got into the NCAA quarterfinal after a 17-8 first round win over Johns Hopkins this past Saturday. 

The Bears beat Hopkins for only the second time in program history and recorded their first NCAA tournament win since 1995. 

Brown is now in search of their first trip to the final four since 1994.

Dylan Molloy 

Brown star Dylan Molloy was named a finalist for the Tewaaraton Award which goes to the best player in college lacrosse. The ceremony will take place on June 2 in Washington D.C. 

Molloy leads the nation in total points (114), goals (60), and assists (54) and is Brown's first ever Tewaaraton finalist.
