Friars Drop 2nd Straight, Fall 69-60 to Boston College

The Providence Friars men's basketball team (6-2) dropped their second straight game on Friday night, losing to (4-3) Boston College 69-60 at Conte Forum in Boston. PC is 0-2 in true road games so far this season.

Kris Dunn led the Friars with a new career high of 24 points and added six assists. However, Providence only shot 39 percent from the field and 55 percent from the free throw line on their way to a loss. All six of Dunn's assists came in the first half.

LaDontae Henton had his second straight sub par game only recording nine points. After getting off to a red hot start for the Friars, Henton has now only hit five of his last 24 shots for PC after only hitting one shot against Kentucky. 

For Boston College, Olivier Hanlan had 24 points to lead the Eagles to their fourth win of the season. Hanlan only had six points in the second half however. 

Next up, the Friars will look to bounce back from this two game skid when they host in-state rival Brown University on on Monday, December 8 at 9 p.m. The game will be televised on Fox Sports one.
