The Patriots led 28-27 heading into the fourth quarter before the Houston Texans converted back-to-back field goals from kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn to take a 33-28 lead.

Following the ensuing kickoff, the Patriots took over possession on from their own 25-yard line with 2:24 to play and one timeout.

Brady found Cooks to pick up a 3 and 12 from their own 23-yard line and then hit Danny Amendola on a 3rd and 18 to put them on the Houston 25 yard line with 29 seconds left to play.

Brady then hit Cooks for the game-winning 25-yard touchdown pass to give the Patriots a 34-33 lead. They connected again on a two-point conversion to go up 36-33.

Cooks hauled in five catches for 131 yards and two touchdowns in the game to lead all receivers.

Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson’s Hail Mary into the Patriots end zone was intercepted by Duran Harmon to seal the game.

The comeback victory was the 50th of Brady’s career.

Brady finished the game completing 25 of 35 passes for 378 yards and five touchdown passes.

He also fumbled the ball three times and was sacked four times.
