Multiple reports have Duncan Powell, a talented wingman who last year played at Georgia Tech and had committed to play for Ed Cooley at Georgetown, is reversing course and coming to Providence.

“Duncan Powell, previously committed to Georgetown, is heading to Providence instead. Quality pickup for Kim English and the Friars to get a 6-foot-8 wing who plays a hard-nosed style and gets after it on D. Averaged 12.8 PPG and 5.4 RPG on 44% FG this past year. Rising senior,” posted John Fanta of Fox Sports.
