Winning Streak Snapped, Bryant Falls 66-57 to Harvard

The Bryant Bulldogs (8-8, 5-1 NEC)  fell to the (11-4, 1-0 IVY) Harvard Crimson 66-57 on Tuesday night at the Chace Athletic Center. The loss snaps Bryant's four game winning streak but the good news is that's a non-conference loss.

See the five takeaways slideshow below.

The Bulldogs trailed 58-57 with 2:30 left in the game but Dan Garvin missed a layup and that set Bryant on course for several more missed shots in the games final minutes. Meanwhile, Harvard would go on a run scoring eight straight points to seal the road victory. The Bulldogs didn't score a point the rest of the way.

In fact, the last field goal the Bulldogs converted was a Starks layup with 4:50 left to go. The layup tied the game at 55.

Bryant was led by Dyami Starks who netted a game high 18 points on only 7-of-22 from the field. Joe O'Shea followed up with 14 points for the Bulldogs.

The Crimson were led by Steve Moundou-Missi who netted 15 points.

Bryant returns to conference play action  on  Thursday, January 22 when they host LIU Brooklyn. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
