Statewide Poll: Despite RI’s Low Unemployment, Taxes and Economy Are Top Concerns

RI's are most concerned about taxes
The national economy may be flying and Rhode Island’s unemployment is near a record low rate, but a new GoLocal Statewide Poll conducted by Harvard’s John Della Volpe finds that Rhode Islanders are deeply concerned about a series of economic challenges, specifically taxes, jobs and the economy, and the state budget.

This was an open-ended question. Nearly 50 percent identified a “pocketbook” issue as their top concern.
