United Way of RI Awards $90K in Grants to 8 Local Organizations

United Way
United Way of Rhode Island (UWRI) has awarded $90,000 in grants to eight local organizations through the Olneyville Community Fund.

“Over the past decade, we have seen tremendous change throughout Olneyville as a result of the investments we’ve made thanks to the generosity of our donors. When we moved here, our goal was to become a catalyst in revitalizing the community – and as proud as we are of the progress made, we are equally excited about the impact these latest grants will have on the lives of our neighbors,” said Anthony Maione, president and CEO of United Way of Rhode Island.

The fund was established in 2008 to help community-based organizations implement programs that benefit local residents and businesses, and support a thriving neighborhood.
