NEW: Raimondo Announces "Make it in RI" Inaugural Schedule

Governor-elect Gina Raimondo has announced her "Make it in RI" schedule events for Inauguration week via her website. The events kick off on Tuesday, January 6th with a mass at St. Raymond's Church before things move to the state house where Raimondo and general officers of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations will be inaugurated into their respective positions.

Inauguration of Governor Gina Raimondo and The General Officers of The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

WaterFire Celebration
The public is encouraged to join the General Officers for a celebratory WaterFire. All parties are free and open to the public.

Open House at the State House
Hosted by Governor Gina Raimondo and her husband Andy Moffit, the event will feature tastings from Rhode Island restaurants and food and beverage producers, as well as performances from a diverse variety of local groups. Admission is free with a suggested donation of a nonperishable food item to the Rhode Island Food Bank.
