Witnesses told police a man “acting strange” came into the laundromat and first approached a female.

Then the man reportedly approached two children — a six and seven-year-old — and asked where their parents were.

The suspect reportedly grabbed the children’s hands before a man intervened and physically removed the man from the building.

Police spoke with the mothers of the children, who were in the laundromat at the time of the incident.

According to police, Shawn Dolphin, age 41, was arrested shortly after the incident and is facing disorderly conduct and assault charges.
