An altercation between students saw one female treated by rescue after she had an ear piercing ripped out.
Officers made multiple arrests, including one student in possession of a knife.

A dozen Providence Police officers were involved with breaking up the fight and making arrests.
Just recently, Providence Mayor Brett Smiley and Police Chief Oscar Perez touted the city's annual drug bust at Kennedy Plaza.
Fight Leads to Arrests
Police on detail at Kennedy Plaza said that shortly before 3:30 PM on Tuesday, they saw a fight break out among students.
According to police, two juvenile females got into a fight and over 60 students gathered, and the crowd became unruly.

The victim was treated by Providence Rescue; officers took one juvenile female into custody.
Police also arrested a 14-year-old boy who they say was wearing a face mask and brandishing a knife with a 3-inch blade.
Both juveniles were turned over to Youth Services and were charged with disorderly conduct.
Latest Police Response to Juveniles
In September 2023, police were called in to respond to a large-scale fight amont students at the same location.
