Man Arrested in Domestic Stabbing in Providence Had Outstanding Warrant for Child Molestation

Police were called to the 200 block of Prairie Avenue shortly after 6 PMI on Saturday for a report of a stabbing.

Police detained the suspect, later identified as Rudolph Bliss, age 54, and located a bloody knife at the scene.
According to police, a background search for Bliss showed he had an active Superior Court warrant for first-degree child molestation.
Bliss is being held for the next session of court; detectives are continuing to investigate.
