A man was carjacked — at gunpoint — at a gas station in Providence.

According to police, the incident occurred on Friday night shortly before 11 PM.

The victim — a male — told police he was getting gas at the Mobile station at 389 Elmwood Avenue.

He said a man approached him, showed him a gun, and demanded his vehicle.

The suspect then drove off.

Detectives are currently investigating.
