Man Shot at During Robbery in Providence
A man was robbed — and shot at — in Providence overnight.
The incident occurred in the West End.
There were multiple instances of gun violence in the city overnight, including a shooting outside of a restaurant and club on Smith Street.

About Incident
Shortly after 11 PM Sunday night, police responded to a report of shots fired on Althea Street.
The victim — a male in his 30s — told police he had been sitting in his car, when two men came up to his vehicle — and pointed guns at him.
According to the victim, the men — who were wearing masks — stole cash and marijuana.
The victim said he ran to a nearby residence, at which time the suspects began shooting at him.
Police said there was damage to the residence and shell casings were found at the scene.
No one inside the residence was injured.
