Man With Wife & Daughter at Providence Place Arrested After He Allegedly Was Doing Drugs in Bathroom
According to Providence Police, the “Uniform Community Response Team” has been paying special attention to the Providence Place Mall “due to it being a location with an increase of incidents such as larcenies, assaults, disorderly conduct and mall code of conduct violations.”

About Incident
Shortly before 5 PM on Saturday, Providence Police were alerted that an individual had been seen by mall security “using narcotics” in a mall bathroom.
The security officer told Providence Police that while on routine patrol in a mall bathroom that they heard “snorting” coming from inside a stall and saw a man with a rolled-up bill snorting a white substance off his hand.
The suspect was taken to the mall security office, where police say officers found multiple bags of suspected narcotics in a satchel in his possession.
The suspect, later identified as Yadibb Serrano, age 37, was detained and transported to Central Station.
