NEW: 195 Commission Director Brodie Resigns

195 Redevelopment Commission Executive Director Jan Brodie announced on Friday her resignation. 

Brodie, who served as executive director of the commission for the last 2 years, said in a statement that she plans to return to the private sector. 

“It has been an incredible opportunity to work on this important project,” Brodie said. “With new incentives now in place, the 195 land development project is ready to move into a new and exciting phase. I am proud of the work we have done and now armed with new incentives that will act as vital catalysts, the Commission now has the tools to move forward with the next phase of development I am confident they will have in place the riNEW: 195 Commission Director Brodie Resignsght team to make that happen.”

“We’d like to thank Jan for her service,” said Commission Chairman Joe Azrack. “Her skills, expertise and knowledge have been invaluable. I have asked her to stay on for a month to help with the transition, and she has agreed.”
