NEW: Gas Prices Up - Again

Although RI gas prices dropped last week for the first time in over a month, this week they’ve risen by a penny.

A February 7 survey by AAA Southern New England found the average for self-serve, regular unleaded gas to be $3.18. This is one cent higher than what it was last week, and six cents above the national average.

At this time last year, the average gas price in Rhode Island was $2.71.
