A man was shot and killed in Providence on Tuesday.

The homicide marks the city’s 38th homicide in 37 months and second in less than two weeks.

According to police, the shooting took place Tuesday evening.

It reportedly occurred on the 1300 block of Broad Street, inside a laundromat. 

The victim was in his late thirties, say police. 

Police are currently investigating; they are not releasing any additional information at this time.
