Providence Man Alleges Neighbor Carved Swastika Into Door -- Police Investigating

Shortly after 6 PM on Thursday, police responded to a report at 737 Cranston Street by a man who said he believed his neighbor had banged on his door -- with a gun.

According to police, the victim said he opened the door to see what was happening, and said he then saw his neighbor run from his door and enter his own apartment.
The victim told police that he then saw a swastika carved into his door -- which had not been there prior.
Police went to the neighbor's residence and took him into custody and charged him with disorderly conduct and malicious mischief.
Police stated that the victim was later arrested for threatening his neighbor's wife.
