Providence Police are reporting a stabbing homicide in Providence.

According to police, the victim was stabbed on Swiss Street on Thursday afternoon.

He was taken to the Providence fire station at 630 Atwells Avenue for assistance, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police are not releasing the name of the victim at this time.

An investigation is underway.
