Providence Police Investigating Stabbing

Providence police are investigating a report of a stabbing in the city on Friday. 

About Incident 

Police were called to Rhode Island Hospital for a report of a stabbing victim shortly after 1:30 PM on Friday.

Upon arrival, police met with the male victim who said he had been stabbed multiple times and drove himself to the hospital. 

Police said they observed stab wounds to the man's face, arm, and leg. 

According to police, the victim was uncooperative and did not want to provide any details about what had taken place leading up to the stabbing. 

Police said that upon inspection of the victim's car, they found large amounts of blood, as well as a knife.

Detectives are currently investigating.
