About Incident
Shortly before 1 AM Sunday morning, police were dispatched to the Graduate at 11 Dorrance Street for a report of a stabbing.
Police responded to the eighth floor where they encountered two male stabbing victims.
According to police, the men were both stabbed in their mid-sections, and were transported to Rhode Island Hospital where they were in stable condition overnight.
One victim underwent surgery and is now in critical condition as of Sunday morning.
Witnesses told police a small birthday party had been taking place in a room when a fight broke out, and the stabbing occurred.
The assailants fled before police arrived.
Detectives are currently investigating.

On Friday night -- after the city hosted its official Christmas tree lighting ceremony on the steps of City Hall -- a stabbing took place hundreds of feet away.
Just before 10:30 PM, police reposed to a report of a stabbing at Kennedy Plaza.
Witnesses told police there had been a fight between two men in the middle of the street, and one man was stabbed.
The police located the victim -- who they said was uncooperative.
He had been stabbed in the hand and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
