Two children were among the occupants rescued from a house fire in Providence overnight.

Firefighters responded to the blaze on Ophelia Street in the Hartford neighborhood of the city.

An adult and a dog were also rescued by firefighters from the two-alarm fire.

Providence Fire Chief Derek Silva did not respond to request for comment at time ot publication.
