After trailing by 12 at the half, 33-21, Houston cut URI"s lead to four points at 39-35 with just over 12 minutes to play in the game.

Houston would get within four points again, 58-54, with 2:20 to play in the game but the Rams would close the game on a 9-3 run and get the win.
The Leaders
URI was led by Hassan Martin who poured in 14 points on 7 of 10 shooting from the field to go with five rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots.
Jared Terrell followed up with 12 points of his own.

URI returns to action on Sunday, December 13 when they visit Nebraska. Tip off is set for 2 p.m.

Cold from 3
The Rams were relatively hot from three-point land against Providence, especially early on, but in this game, it was the complete opposite.
URI went 2 of 15 from three-point land shooting 13.3 % from beyond the arc.
Four McGlynn's struggles continue as he went 1 of 5 from deep. McGlynn is in a cold stretch having made only one three in the last two games.
Expect him to keep shooting it and shoot himself out of it.
Jared Terrell
Jared Terrell reached double figures for the fourth straight game, recording 12 points on 4 of 8 shooting from the field and 3 of 6 from the free throw line.
Terrell also grabbed three steals to go with one rebound and one assists.
Rebounding
Kuran Iverson led URI with 7 rebounds but the Rams were out rebounded in the game 40-34.
More importantly, Houston got themselves 13 offensive rebounds which helped lead to 15 second chance points.
URI grabbed eight offensive rebounds and turned it into eight points.
Hassan Martin
Hassan Martin led the Rams with 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots in the game.
Martin's 14 points came on 7 of 10 shooting from the field in 33 minutes of play.
This is the third straight game in which Martin has reached double-figures.
Free Throws
URI ended up winning the game by ten points but it was a lot closer than it should have been in large part because URI struggled from the free throw line.
Rhody went 13 of 27 from the charity stripe, shooting 48 %.
URI made enough free throws down the stretch to seal the win but they madeit more interesting then it needed to be.
