New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took to Twitter to rip NFL officiating during Thursday night’s game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.

Shortly after a roughing the passer penalty on Tennesee’s Kamalei Correa Brady put out a series of tweets criticizing the officials and the number of penalties.

“Too many penalties. Just let us play,” Brady said in his first tweet.

A short time later, Brady tweeted, “I’m turning off this game. I can’t watch these ridiculous penalties anymore.”

Former NFL quarterback and current Fox analyst Troy Aikman made note of Brady’s tweet during the broadcast of the game.

"Tom Brady is one of the least controversial people we have in our game. He is league royalty. When he makes a statement like that, that should get somebody's attention."

In the game, there were 15 penalties called in the first half, and 20 penalties total in the game.

There were no penalties called in the third quarter.

The Jaguars were called for 12 penalties, nine of which were accepted.

Jacksonville won the game 20-7 to improve to 1-2 on the season, while the Titans fall to 1-2 overall.
