The Terriers (2-1) started off hot on the offensive end and never cooled down, shooting 58.8 percent from the field and 89.5 percent at the charity stripe. BU started the contest on a 13-0 run and prevented the Bears (0-3) from ever cutting the deficit into single digits in the programs' first meeting in 32 years.

All five BU starters finished in double figures with junior Michael McNair totaling 18 points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals. Both McNair and freshman Sam Hughes went an identical 4-for-7 from behind the arc, while senior Ben Roy flushed three of his four attempts en route to 14 points alongside five assists. Sophomore Ben Defty also delivered a strong all-around performance in the paint, posting 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two blocks with freshman Chance Gladden adding 14 points, five assists and five rebounds in a game-high 35 minutes of action.

For the Bears, Isaiah Langham came off the bench to tally a game-high 20 points with an 8-for-8 performance at the charity stripe. Both Adrian Uchidiuno (14 pts.) and Luke Paragon (11 pts.) also finished in double figures, while Jeremiah Jenkins added eight points and six assists. Brown nearly doubled its shooting percentage from 34.6 FG% in the first half to 59.3 FG% during the second, but was unable to mount a big enough rally down the stretch.

NEXT: On Friday, Brown hosts Hampton at home at 8:15 PM.
