Bryant Football Visits Conference Rival Duquesne on Saturday

Bryant football returns to action on Saturday
After a bye week, the Bryant Bulldogs football team returns to action Saturday afternoon when they visit Duquesne in Pittsburgh.

Bryant enters the game with a record of 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the NEC, while the Dukes come in with a 3-2 record.

Game time is set for 1 p.m.

Bryant vs Duquesne

Saturday’s game will be the 11th meeting in program history between the two teams.

Bryant leads the all-time series 6-4 following a 38-29 win last season.

Bryant Offense

The Bulldogs offense enters the contest averaging 37 points per game, good enough for 15th best in the country.

Bryant quarterback Price Wilson ranks first nationally in touchdown passes with 13, fourth in passing yards per game with 312 and fourth in completions per game with 28.5.

On the season, Wilson has thrown for 1,248 yards and 13 touchdowns in four games.

Junior running back Jean Constant is third in the country with six receiving touchdowns sixth in total touchdowns with seven, and seventh in the country in scoring.

Constant has 233 rushing yards on the season with an average of 58 yards per game.

In the passing game, freshman Shelton McNeal ranks sixth in the country in receiving yards per game among freshman.

He has 204 yards receiving for an average of 51 yards per game.

Bryant Defense

On the defensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs give up an average of 38.5 points per game and allow an average of 403 total yards per game.

The Bulldogs are led by senior Thomas Costigan who tied his career-high with 16 sacks against Robert Morris and ranks 16th in the country with 10.5 tackles per game.

Junior Tomas Wright ranks sixth in the country In tackles for loss per game with two and 11th in sacks per game with 1.13.
