Bryant's Starks Earns NEC Player of the Week Honors

Bryant men's basketball captain Dyami Starks has earned his first Northeast Conference Player of the Week honor of the 2014-15 season. 

The award comes after Starks's averaged 24.5 points, three rebounds and two and a half assists per game in a week where Bryant went 1-1. 

Starks 24.5 points per game came on 59 percent shooting from the field, including 53 percent shooting from three-point land.

In Bryant's 74-71 win over FDU on Thursday February 12, Starks poured in a season high 31 points to help the Bulldogs clinch a berth in the 2015 NEC Tournament. 

On Saturday, February 14, Bryant loss to Mount St. Mary's 74-71 but Starks netted 18 points in the game. 

Dyami Starks has hit double figures in 12 straight games for Bryant, netting at least 15 points in each of the 12 games. 

Bryant returns to action on Thursday, February 19 when they visit Wagner. The Bulldogs are currently 12-13 overall and 9-5 in the NEC, good enough for second place in the conference.
