PC Basketball Lands 4-Star Recruit Maliek White

Providence College basketball has landed 6'2"guard Maliek White of Richmond, Virginia. According to Scout.com, White is the number 28 ranked point guard in the country and is rated as a four-star prospect.

White will join the Friars in 2016 and is PC's first verbal commitment of the class. 

White also had offers from Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech and Old Dominion.

White made the announcment on his twitter account:

 

Over the summer, White played for the River City Reign on the AAU circuit where he averaged 17.5 points and 5.8 assists per game, leading the Bulldogs to a 26-4 record. 

The Providence Friars get set to kick off the 2015-16 season on Saturday, November 14th when they host Harvard at the Dunkin Donuts Center
