Quadree Smith

Smith is a 6'7" 270 pound forward who is coming off a year as the team captain at IMG Academy where he led the team to a 23-4 record and an appearance in the 2015 National Prep  Championship before losing to Brewster Academy back in March.

Prior to IMG Academy, Smith played for Potomac High School, leading them to the Maryland 2A state championship.

With Potomac, Smith poured in 20 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in the semifinals and followed it up with 14 points and 19 rebounds in the championship game.

Chukwu Out, Smith In

With Paschal Chukwu leaving the program after just one season, the arrival of Quadree Smith will fill the hole Providence has at the forward position.

Smith will join guard Ricky Council II at PC starting in September of 2015 as they will look to help the Friars get back to the NCAA Tournament for a third straight season.
