Revolution Score Late to Tie New York FC 2-2

The New England Revolution and New York City FC played to a 1-1 tie Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium. 

The tie moves the Revolution to 4-6-4 on the season. 

They are currently in 8th place in the Eastern Conference.

Revs Tie Game Late 

With the Revolution trailing 2-1, Kelyn Rowe chipped a pass across the goal to an open Xavier Kouassi in the 86th minute to tie the game at 2. 

The goal was Kouassi’s first of his MLS career and was the first time all season that New York has given up a goal in the final 15 minutes. 

New York took a 2-1 lead in the 64th minute on a goal by Miguel Camargo. 

Next up 

The Revolution return to action on Saturday, June 3 when they host Toronto FC at Gillette Stadium. 

Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
