The University of Rhode Island men’s basketball team earned their first road win of the season on Saturday afternoon, beating Holy Cross 79-63 at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

“I think our defense has been really, really good thus far this year. Our offense obviously has been lacking, but we took a step forward in the offensive department today. I hope that trend continues,” said URI head coach David Cox after the game.

The win improves URI to 4-3 on the season, while Holy Cross drops to 6-4.
