URI Basketball Slips to #23 in National Poll - See Top 25

The URI Rams men's basketball team slipped to #23 in the AP Poll and #25 in the Coaches poll on Monday following a ten point loss to then top-ranked Duke on Sunday at Mohegan Sun.

"Sure, Duke's team is decimated by injuries. But Rhode Island still gave the Blue Devils a lot to handle in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Tip-Off, and that's without E.C. Matthews being on the top of his game. Kuran Iverson is emerging as a legitimate scoring option alongside Matthews, and I like the Rams' depth," wrote Kyle Boone of CBS Sports.

The Rams return to action on Friday, November 25 when they host Belmont at the Ryan Center.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
