URI Basketball Gets Commitment From 3-Star Guard Brendan Adams

The University of Rhode Island men’s basketball team has received a commitment from three-star guard Brendan Adams for the recruiting class of 2018.

Adams announced his decision via his Twitter account on Sunday night.

Adams is ranked by Rivals as the 131st best player in the recruiting class of 2018. 

Adams also had interest from Kansas State, Massachusetts, Wyoming and George Mason, among others. 

About Adams 

Adams is a 6-4 guard out of Hanover, Maryland and Calvert Hall College High.

He played summer basketball for Team Melo in the Nike EYBL circuit.

With Team Melo, Adams shot 47.7 percent from eh field and reached double figures in three of five games at the Peach Jam in South Carolina in July.

Adams commitment comes two days after the Rams got a commitment from four-star forward Jermaine Harris on Friday afternoon.

Adams is the fifth player to commit to the Rams for the class of 2018.

He follows Harris, shooting guard Tyrese Martin, small forward Dana Tate and guard Amir Harris.
