United Way of RI's Zennovation Fund Awards $195K in Grants to 12 Organizations

Festival Ballet Providence is among the 12 organizations who received a grant.
United Way of Rhode Island (UWRI) has announced that the Zennovation Fund has awarded a total of $195,000 in grants to 12 organizations who work to improve the lives of children and adults in communities across the state.

“The goals of the Zennovation Fund and the work of the organizations it supports align closely with the mission of United Way of Rhode Island. These grants will allow programs to enhance and expand the delivery of their services to reach more people and, in turn, make a positive difference throughout Rhode Island,” said Anthony Maione, president, and CEO of United Way of Rhode Island.

The Zennovation Fund was established at UWRI in April of 2018 through an anonymous $500,000 gift, creating the organization’s largest single donor-advised fund.
