18-Year-Old Shot in Providence

An 18-year-old was shot in the city overnight. 

 

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Friday.

According to Providence Police Major David Lapatin, the male victim was sitting in a vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue off Broad Street when the shooting occurred. 

 

The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he is reportedly in stable condition.
