75 New Coronavirus Cases in RI Reported - Hospitalizations Remain Flat

The agency reported 75 new cases — a total of more than 300 since last Friday.
Those numbers show a three-day rolling average of 74.

She is expected to give an update on schools although parents will not hear final state plans until August 31. Schools are expected to resume on September 14.
The number of hospitalizations has remained steady in Rhode Island for about the past week.
The number presently hospitalized 78 — a three day average of 82.
ICU patients are now 8 — and 4 on ventilators.
