Bullet Holes Found in Vehicle After Shots Fired in Providence

Providence police are investigating a report of shots fired in the West End of the city.

About Incident 

Shortly before 1 AM Saturday morning, police responded to Hudson Street for the report of shots fired.

The caller told police she was in her home when she heard several gunshots. 

According to police, a vehicle in the driveway at the scene was found to have several bullet holes through it. 

Police said a projectile was also found next to the vehicle. 

Detectives are currently investigating.

A man was stabbed in Providence on Friday afternoon — and police made an arrest soon after the attack. 

Shortly before 4 PM on Friday, police responded to the parking lot of Anthony’s Drug Store at 205 Manton Avenue for a report of a stabbing.
