Four Hopkins Volunteers Test Positive for Coronavirus, All Worked Election Day

“Four volunteers and supporters of mine have been diagnosed as positive with the Covid-19 virus. They participated at different volunteer levels of activity on Election Day and were at our headquarters when we utilized the St Mary’s Feast Society Hall in Cranston,” said Hopkins.
“Despite our best precaution efforts to practice social distancing, wearing of facial masks, proper separation with dividers and hand sanitizing, a few positive tests have developed. We cannot say for certain where their initial contact was but it was likely before Election Day,” Hopkins said in announcement.

“We have attempted to reach out to other volunteers to urge them to self-monitor and consult their primary care physician or the Rhode Department of Health Covid website for testing procedures. The persons who have tested positive have cooperated with the Department of Health’s contact tracing protocols,” added Hopkins.
