Man Dies on Route 95 South in Warwick

At approximately 9:36 pm on Tuesday, the Rhode Island State Police and Warwick Fire and Rescue responded to calls of a pedestrian being struck on the highway on Route 95 south in Warwick.

According to the State Police, Troopers arrived on the scene and, after further investigation, revealed that a 33-year-old man from San Benito, Texas, was a passenger in a vehicle traveling southbound. In the area of Route 37, the man exited the vehicle while in motion and was then struck by several other vehicles.

 

The man died as a result of his injuries, according to the State Police.
