Providence Police are investigating a report of shots fired off of Atwells Avenue early Sunday morning.

About Incident

Shortly before 3 AM, police were dispatched to 95 Newark Street for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, the complainant told police that he heard approximately 5 shots outside his bedroom window.

Police located 5 shell casings in the driveway of 91 Newark Street.

Detectives were on location and BCI processed the scene.
