Fox Point Traffic Stop Results in Firearm, Tequila Bottle, and Suspected Cocaine Seized

About Incident
Shortly after 2 AM Thursday morning, police reported seeing a heavily tinted car driving on Wickenden Street.

Upon search of the vehicle, police said they found an open bottle of Don Julio and a pill bottle. Police said then they frisked the driver - Edgar Pagan, age 29, and said they found multiple bags of suspected crack cocaine.
At that time, police said when they went to place Pagan in custody, he fled on foot.
When police pursued him and brought him to the ground, they said Pagan dropped a 9 mm gun loaded with live rounds.
Police seized the firearm, alcohol, and narcotics; Pagan was transported to Central Station where he was charged with driving with a suspended license.
The Narcotics Bureau is looking into additional charges.
