Providence Pizza Parlor Manager Assaulted With Hammer

About Incident
Shortly before 9 PM on Saturday, police were called to Brother’s Famous Pizza located at 950 Broad Street for a report of an assault.
Police said the victim - a male in his 40s - identified himself as a manager of the restaurant, and had visible bruising to his face.
According to the victim, he told police he had confronted a female who he said had hit his parked car on the street.
The victim said then it turned into a verbal argument and that another male became involved, and entered the business wielding a hammer.
A physical fight then ensued and the victim said he was struck in the face with the hammer, which police found at the scene.
Police say they detained the male and female suspects involved and that charges are pending.
