UPDATED: Shooting in Walmart in El Paso -- 20 Dead and 26 Wounded

A Walmart in El Paso, Texas was the site of a mass shooting on Saturday. According to some reports, more than 20 were wounded.

Three suspects are in custody, El Paso Mayor Dee Margo told CNN's Wolf Blitzer. But ultimately, the police in El Paso say the shooting was the work of just one man -- authorities identified the gunman as Patrick Crusius, from a Dallas suburb.

According to the NewYork Times, the shooting was racially motivated and may be tied to a manifesto written by the shooter, “the Hispanic invasion of Texas.”

Providence City Councilman Michael Corriea tells GoLocal that his daughter, who lives near the shopping center in El Paso, is safe.

The Dallas Morning News reports:

A University Medical Center of El Paso spokesman said multiple victims have been taken to different hospitals. University Medical Center got at least 10 victims with "level one" injuries, which is the most serious level, spokesman Ryan Mielke told NBC News.

Del Sol Medical Center told CBS News 11 victims were taken to the medical facility.

Police spokesman Robert Gomez didn't update the status of the victims or say how many people were killed in the shooting.

The shooting began at about 12 noon EST.

This is the second mass shooting at a Walmart this week -- the other was in Mississippi - two were left dead in the event.
