Two Men Stab Each Other in Providence, Both Hospitalized

Two men who got into a fight overnight reportedly stabbed each other — and were subsequently hospitalized — in Providence. 

About Incident 

Police were called shortly after midnight to 91 Hartford Avenue in Olneyville for a report of a stabbing.

A male victim was found to bleeding through his clothing in the torso area, according to police.

Police said that he identified another male at the location as the man who stabbed him. 

That victim also had a stab wound, and said that it had occurred when the two men got into a fight on the building elevator. 

Both victims were transported to Rhode Island Hospital. 

Detectives are currently investigating.
