This week’s publication of the FBI files of Raymond Patriarca are unveil his connection to one of the biggest mob hits in the history of the Five Families, the Providence Journals’ effort to get access to these very files by appealing to US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and the impact of a “devastating blonde.”

The infamous John Nazarian is alleged to have been the hit man for Raymond Patriarca and to have pulled off one of the biggest hits in mob history - the hit on Albert Anastassio, the head of the Gambino Crime Family.

In the effort the defend the Providence Journal against the $1 Million libel suit brought by Raymond Patriarca against the paper, the Edwards and Angell attorney representing the Providence Journal wanted to personally appeal to Robert Kennedy.

According to FBI files and reports, Patriarca’s application for new licenses for vending machine’s in Boston was drooped off “by a girl whom is described as a beautiful blonde who was ‘devastating.’
